Radio Controlled Recording System

The system comprises one RCAR2A radio-controlled audio recorder module and one WMBU1A hand-held controller. It provides high-quality audio recording that can be controlled remotely, requiring just the addition of a microphone capsule.

The system is designed to be used in situations where recording needs to be started and stopped periodically but without direct access to the unit.

The RCAR1A recorder module is small. It is not much larger than the two standard AAA alkaline batteries from which it is powered.

It can record continuously for in excess of 200 hours and has a standby battery-life of at least 6 months.

In addition to the ON/OFF function, the WMBU1A controller provides the user with status information including battery condition (as remaining percent capacity) allowing the user to verify the condition of the remote system at any time.
