The HUSA1A is a hand-held spectrum analyser for ultrasonic signals. It uses a low-noise broadband ultrasonic transducer capable of detecting and analysing even the weakest sounds.

As well as having high-sensitivity, thanks to the transducer's narrow beam pattern, signal sources can be easily and accurately located using this highly portable instrument.

The HUSA1A analyses signals between 10kHz and 110kHz. In addition to frequency response, the analyser also measures the peak frequency within a defined window, which is very useful when working in noisy environments.

The HUSA1A is extremely sensitive and the overall system noise-floor at 50kHz is only 5dB SPL. This means the instrument can reliably detect signals as weak as 10dB SPL.
